Ponzio PE78 FOLD – awarded for best innovation

The Ponzio PE78 FOLD folding patio door system has been awarded the TOP Builder award in the Innovative Product category. The jury rewarded the best products, services and construction solutions as well as projects including modern architectural, structural, material and technological solutions.

“Ponzio folding patio doors are truly a “top” product” said Maciej Borczuk, the Director of the Technical Department at Ponzio, after receiving the award at the gala event. “It is especially useful during the spring and summer when we open our homes to the warm weather and our cafes and restaurants to prospective customers. It’s a perfect solution erasing the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces.”

High functionality, comfort of use and very good technical parameters are the main features of this advanced system. It can be used in private residences as well as commercial spaces, such as restaurants, cafes and hotels – where folding the doors creates a wide and free passage between indoor and outdoor spaces – usually a patio or a pool, used only during the warmer seasons. This solution enables the manufacturing large dimension, multi-sash structures (max height up to 3.5 m). Both inward and outward opening structures may be assembled using the same profiles. Bespoke hardware ensures end-user comfort and allows sash weight up to 120 kg. It is important to note that the system exhibited very high weather proofing and thermal insulation during testing. This means that this solution is a great barrier against weather conditions all year round.
